Sheri and Bob Parker - Worcester Art Museum
As I was planning my 1st wedding (at age 50), I hadn't given much thought about a photographer. I initially considered using a friend of mine who's hobby was photography. My hope was to just capture a couple of pictures from our special day. A friend of mine recommended I meet with Dana Lane for a little consult. I think my friend was horrified at the thought of my not hiring a professional. I met with Dana; saw samples of his work, went over his prices and IMMEDIATELY hired him. I expressed to Dana that I wasn't all that picky, I really only wanted some formal pictures to be taken prior to the ceremony and then candid shots after that. Our wedding was held at the Worcester Art Museum, which, by itself, provides the most beautiful backdrop for a wedding. I cannot even begin to explain what Dana created. While the majority of the photos were the formal/family poses (that I requested), each one of them was creative, the poses well thought out and many incorporated things from the actual art museum. The album was GORGEOUS from the silk cover, the linen pages, and leather binding! Each page more beautiful than the one before! The box it came in was embossed with a photo from the wedding. Dana captured the entire evening from beginning to end without our even really knowing he was there. He was not intrusive, was polite and professional. He is creative, thorough and provides a quality product. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.
